Neverdave is the stage name of David Delgado.
I write music because it is the most genuine way I have found to express my humanity. A melody or a line can open a door to mystery that logic never could.
It is not about perfection; it is about presence. It is showing up with an open heart and saying, “This is what I saw. This is what I felt. This is what it means to be alive.”
In my music, I hope people catch a glimpse of their own perfectly imperfect humanity, and that they always feel welcome to sit, grab a beverage, listen, think, laugh, cry, or just be.
I want to create moments where people feel seen exactly as they are, for who they truly are, and understand, even if just a little, that we are all in this together.

Neverdave is the stage name of David Delgado, a seasoned singer-songwriter entering the second act of his musical life. After more than twenty-five years of writing and performing, he found new inspiration in retro folk and Americana storytelling. What began as a simple showcase of songs grew into a deeply personal exploration of story and sound, shaping a style uniquely his own.
His debut recording, Scars, is a ten-song collection about the moments and memories that leave their mark on our lives. It is available in limited release through CDs at his shows and on his website, neverdavemusic.com. Scars mark the beginning of this new chapter, and he is excited to share these songs with you.
