why neverdave?

Welcome to the
Second Half of Life

I was named "Neverdave" by my friend Curtis, who kept calling me Dave. Eventually, I asked him politely, "Please never call me Dave." He responded with a laugh, "Okay, I'll call you Neverdave." The name stuck, and the rest is history.  There is alot more to why I find it meaningful, but that is for another time, maybe over cofee sometime.

This year, I turned 50. So, while I might be in the second half of my life, it’s only true if I live to be a hundred. But I’m determined to try.

It's often said that in the first half of life, you spend your time building a ladder, with each rung bringing you closer to your dreams and ideal life. In the second half, you realize that you’ve placed that ladder against the wrong wall.

These days, I'm writing music that I hope will resonate with others who are on their own journeys. Foe those wo have ears to hear, I hope you find something meaningful for your journey, no matter where you are in life.
